Apple Vinegar Was Being Poured Into A Dog’s Ear. Why? Brilliant!

The fact that this dog is plagued with allergies and itchy ears doesn’t make it any less cute. Luckily, the dog has a very caring owner who helps to clean out the dirt from the ears using ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar). This goes a long way in reducing the itching. The owner records a video to help us learn how he does it.

ACV can be used against ear infections, to treat skin infections as well as reduce inching. Its uses can be external or internal, and can be used both on humans and as well as dogs.

Candida is one of the most common ear infections that affect dogs, and caused when harmful gastrointestinal bacteria exceed their growth. The paws and ears are the common places where the infection reveals itself.

To treat this infection, do this:

  1. Take two equal quantities of distilled water and ACV and mix them.
  2. Use a syringe to drop a few (like 10) drops of the mixture into the dog’s ear. Do not get the syringe inside the ear canal.
  3. Rub the dog’s ear carefully and then let the animal shake the head.

If your dog has a burst eardrum or you haven’t talked to your vet officer, don’t do this procedure.
